10 things i've learnt from my father

mwangi snr
I woke up this morning only to realise not only do i look like my oldman but also an exact replica of him in everything else.this prompted me to put down the traits we share and things i've learnt from him as follows

1. Family always comes first.

2. A man must always solve his own problems. Never burden anyone else with your problems instead find ways of solving them by yourself however hard it may seem.

3. Go after nothing less than the finest life has to offer and give your best in everything you do for you only live once.

4. Money is a means of investment, it should be treated with respect ,never piled up in a bank or spent carelessly instead  invest it wisely.

5.Sweat to acquire you own property, shun corruption, uphold honesty, take great care of other peoples property  and never  take what’s not rightfully yours. Not even a coin.

6.Before undertaking  any major decision ask opinion of those older(read  more knowledgeable than you) have a plan B and keep an open mind for in life things rarely go as planned.

7. Service to fellow human beings and God is the duty of every human being.

8. Respect and be humble to everybody whether young or old, learned or not, rich or poor without discriminating religion, gender, tribe or race.

9. Love yourself, be proud of who you are, have confidence in your abilities; avoid alcohol, drugs and unhealthy foods for they destroy your health.

10. Remember to always help the less fortunate, protect the weak in society and aid those in need without expecting anything in return.
